In December 2018, Pilgrim’s Natchitoches team members collected over 100 toys and monetary donations to support the Christmas with a Trooper program held by the Louisiana State Police – Troop E.  The Natchitoches Complex and other supporting groups’ donations helped put a smile on the faces of several hundred children that were in the hospital…

In 2018, Pilgrim’s Gainesville asked team members to donate gifts for Toys for Tots, a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford gifts. The facility ended up receiving an overwhelming amount of donations. Five boxes were filled and picked up weekly.

During the 2018 holiday season, Pilgrim’s Gainesville partnered with the Gainesville Police Department to sponsor its annual Shop with a Cop event. Each year, police officers work with the Gainesville City School System counselors to identify and select children from lower income neighborhoods to participate. In 2018, the Ellijay, GA, community hosted its annual Fight Against Crime Block Party. Pilgrim’s Ellijay was huge sponsor of the event and provided all the food served, including 800 hot dogs and lots of grilled chicken.
